Ladies,
As we talked about last week we will be moving to morning practice. I want to be shoving off the dock at 5:15 so that we can be back in at 6:35 for all of you to leave by 6:45.
For this to happen we need oars and the launch out right away. Take launch 4.
Here are the lineups for tomorrow. I will update this sheet everyday:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Dxozgqhjh-459KShcxMsTHd1FZ3rqJBd4TbbERKuunk/edit?usp=sharingIf for some reason you can’t make a morning practice you must let me know by 9pm the day before so I can adjust lineups. If you do not communicate with me about an absence I will assume you are coming. I need you at practice everyday. We are three weeks away from championships. Your excuses for missing mornings better be legit.
If one person from your boat doesn’t show up, the rest of you will erg. Hold each other accountable.
With us moving to morning practice, the afternoons will be optional except Tuesday and Thursday which will be lifting. Those days should only take an hour.
If you are interested in doing an optional afternoon row please let me know and the lineup you want to go in. Let me know ahead of time. If you show up and never communicated to me about rowing I will have you erg. Small boats will depend on availability as the novice and some varsity men are practicing in the afternoon. I want to stress that afternoons are OPTIONAL. Use that time to get caught up on school, have dinner at a decent hour, or relax. Optional practice is not a substitute for mornings.
It’s fun to be fast but its hard to get there.
Coach Forrest
